If your order includes CPAP/BiPAP Machine, CPAP/BiPAP Mask, Humidifier, we must have your prescription on file before we can ship your order. Please note that beds, commodes, walkers, wheelchairs, bed accessories,CPAP supplies and parts such as filters, tubing, mask parts, cushions and pillows do not require a prescription.

There are easy ways to give us your prescription:

  • Fax your prescription to our fax number: (954)-915-1134 
  • Email your prescription to [email protected]
  • Providing In-person or we already have it on-file.

NOTE: If you fax or email a prescription, please write your order number on your prescription. 

Did you know that you can often get a CPAP prescription from your primary care physician? If your doctor has a record of your sleep study or knows that you use CPAP, he or she will most likely be happy to write a prescription for your supplies. This method can also generally be completed faster than going through a specialist. 

Prescriptions are generally provided on your doctor’s prescription pad, office letterhead, or printed prescription form

Valid Prescriptions have to contain the following: 

  • Patient’s Name  
  • Physician’s full name
  • Physician’s Contact Info
  • Physician’s Signature
  • Date of issue
  • Length of need ( A prescription may include the term of “Lifetime”,”99 months”, an expiration date, or number of refills. If the script contains “99 months” or “Lifetime”, the prescription is valid for as often as sleep therapy is needed.)
  • Machine Prescription must include one of the following but not limited to: i.e. CPAP or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, APAP, AutoPAP, AutoSet, Auto CPAP, Auto Adjusting CPAP, BiPAP, BiLevel, VPAP, BiPAP Auto, CPAP Humidifier, Humidifier, HH, CPAP Supplies.
  • Machine Pressure settings must also be included for all machines.
  • Mask Prescription must include one of the following but not limited to: CPAP Mask, CPAP Supplies, CPAP Humidifier.

Prescription FAQs

Who can write a CPAP prescription?

  • The prescription can be written by any of the following care providers:
    • Medical Doctor
    • Doctor of Osteopathy
    • Psychiatrist
    • Physicians Assistant
    • Nurse Practitioners
    • Dentist
    • Naturopathic Physician
  • We cannot accept a prescription written by any of the following practitioners unless the practitioner is also an MD or DO:
    • Chiropractor
    • Podiatrist
    • Optometrist
    • Psychologist 

Can my prescription be written in a language other than English? Yes. We can accept prescriptions written in any language from a US physician.

Will you accept a CPAP prescription from a doctor outside US? No.  Prescriptions must be written by a US physician.
